What is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an ever-growing collection of information and insights, backed up by a huge range of mental techniques that will enable you to improve how you think, behave and feel - and assist others do the same. NLP therapy will enable you to:

Do whatever you already do reasonably well, even better

Acquire skills and attitudes to facilitate behavioural and motivational change

  Think more clearly

  Communicate more effectively with others

Manage your thoughts, moods and behaviours more effectively

  How does NLP work?

NLP offers a simple yet powerful approach to personal and professional development. Our thoughts, or our perception of a situation, create our emotional responses which in turn influence our behaviour and our beliefs about what we can, or cannot, do. If we can change our how we think, or how we perceive a situation, we can also change our feelings and behaviour.

NLP helps train your mind to make beneficial changes to your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, transforming limiting beliefs and aiming you in a more useful direction. NLP is pro-active, focusing on action rather than theory, focusing on the outcome, on HOW you do something rather than WHY you do it.
NLP is the study of excellence. It is the study of both the conscious and unconscious processes that combine to enable people to do what they do. The key to success is often unknown at a conscious level. Using NLP you can elicit these unknown pieces.

You may want to improve your relationships, or eliminate an anxiety, or become more competitive in the market place. The key pieces are not found in the muscles, but in your inner thoughts, like words or pictures, or feelings or even beliefs. Once you know these unknown pieces you can change them. NLP exercises are like thought experiments, mental exercises or a game. The laboratory is your mind.

What can be treated using NLP?
