CranioSacral Biodynamic Therapy

Noninvasive gentle touch of stillness that supports your body’s innate ability to heal

Inherent healing potency

CranioSacral Biodynamic Therapy is a subtle and profound healing form which assists the natural bodily intelligence and inherent health.

Unlike other techniques that involve manipulations, this therapy is led by the clients system, allowing the unique pace at which adjustments take place and the order in which change occurs.

How does it work

CranioSacral therapist recognizes health as an active principle which is expressed by movement and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid in the body, the breath of life.

Listening to this movement and the rhythm through a gentle CranioSacral touch allow us to identify restrictions causing a dysfunction and can bring about a reorganization towards health that is physiological, psychological and energetic.

What to expect

Treatments last for 60 minutes, the first consultation and session may include a case history; this is an opportunity to discuss your medical history, day to day routine, diet, exercise and generally what is happening in your life.

During the treatment you will lie fully clothed on a therapy couch while you will be lightly touched on your body (feet, cranium, hips, sacrum and other areas) allowing your therapist’s hands to tune into the rhythm and movement of the cerebrospinal fluid. You may feel a deep sense of relaxation and possibly become aware of heat, tingling, pulsations or other sensations.

Due to the gentle and non invasive nature of CranioSacral therapy most people find sessions highly pleasant and relaxing, often leaving feeling revitalized.
